Dhahab Today (“dhahab” means gold in Arabic) is an independent website that shows today’s gold rate in the UAE and explains exactly where each number comes from.
What we do
- Publish gold rates for 24K, 22K, 21K and 18K gold in AED, updated through the day
- Show the international spot price next to the Dubai retail rate, so you can see the difference
- Offer free calculators for gold value, jewellery prices, selling and zakat
- Write practical guides on buying and selling gold in the UAE, in English and Arabic
How we work
Our prices are calculated automatically from international market data and checked for errors before they are shown. Every price shows when it was last updated, and our methodology explains each calculation. If our data source fails, we say so instead of showing old prices as current.
Independence
We are not affiliated with the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group, any government body, bank or jeweller. We do not sell gold. If we ever work with partners or show ads, they will be clearly labelled and will not change our prices. Read our editorial policy.
